Gifts of Stock

Making a gift of stock is a wonderful way to support The Prospector while also receiving potential tax benefits.

To get started, please contact our Chief Development Officer, Alice Meenan, or at 203.894.5023. The simplest way to donate publicly traded stocks is by having your broker transfer the shares electronically to The Prospector’s account. Please be sure to notify us once you initiate a transfer. Since donor names are not included with stock transfers, your notification is the only way we can properly credit and acknowledge your gift.
